Toyota announced $50 million on its new project of artificial intelligence a better alternative for self driving car. People feel uncomfortable with self driving cars so Toyota decides to find solution over it. Rather than using "human in a loop" the new idea behind Intelligent car is "computer in a loop".
The two prestigious robotics labs in USA are developing this concept to reality. This Artificial Intelligence will work as a 'Guardian Angel' that will keep updating what we are doing behind the wheels and perform required actions automatically like avoiding obstacles, alerting driver if he is distracted or fell asleep, the intelligent braking system is also introduced which can avoid accidents at great extent.
Google is developing complete self-driving car which does everything for us while Tesla is working on" auto-pilot" cars. But Toyota's approach is much more practical about its intelligent car system.
