Google launched new devices on 29th Sept event. A Huawei Nexus 6P, LG Nexus 5X, A Pixel C and new Chrome-cast devices.
With unique metal body design yet light weight, massive specifications, good camera, Google's new fingerprint sensor, great display, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, turbo charging, USB type-C and much more. Both these Nexus devices are ready to rock the market.


First, the higher-end Nexus 6P have 5.7-inch quad-HD display with ~518-ppi and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Camera is 12.3 Mega-pixel with Laser-auto focus and Dual-LED flash. Secondary camera is 8 Mega-pixel, Camera supports 4K video recording. 6P is running on quad core Snapdragon 810 chip-set with Adreno 430 GPU. This device have 3GB RAM with 32/64/128 GB storage options without expandable memory card slot. Google claims best in class battery back up with its 3450 mAH battery supporting turbo charging.
Second device is LG Nexus 5X successor of popular 2013 LG Nexus 5. The device have 5.2-inch display with ~424-ppi. The quad core Snapdragon 808 chip and Adreno 418 GPU makes this device super smooth. The device comes with 12.3 Mega-pixel camera with laser auto focus and front shooter comes with 5 Mega-pixels. 5X have 2GB RAM with 16/32 GB variants, but this device also do not have expandable memory card slot. The device is powered by 2700 mAH battery enough for a day's work.
The last device shown in the picture above is a Laptop? A tablet? May be a Laptablet. This device is an answer from Google to Apple's iPad Pro and Microsoft's Surface. It is also running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with an optional magnetic Bluetooth keypad.

Apple Music Will Start Charging You From Wednesday.

Apple released Apple Music  on June 30, 2015. If you signed up for Apple Music on same day but now if you don't want to pay for this service then you'll need to cancel it in next few days as three months free service will end on September 30. If you don't unsubscribe this service, it will automatically renew on a monthly rolling contract.

If you want to continue with the service, you don't need to do anything and you will be able to listen all your favorite music and Beats 1 radio at the cost of $9.99/£9.99 a month.
It is very simple to cancel the service. Go to the Apple Music and press the account logo at top left of the app. There you will get "View Apple ID" option, press that and you will be asked to sign in. After successful signed in, go down to "subscriptions" and there is small toggle named "automatic renewal" that you need to switch off.
That's all. You won't get automatically renewed after the end of free service of Apple Music.

Microsoft Announces FIFA 16, Gears of War Ultimate Bundles And Limited Edition Forza 6 Console For India.

Microsoft has announced two new bundles and limited edition console for India to celebrate one-year anniversary of Xbox One's launch in India. The Gears of War Ultimate Edition will launch at Rs 34,990 for 500GB variant and Rs. 39,990 for 1TB variant.

FIFA 16 Xbox One bundle

Xiaomi Mi 4c Launched In China.

Xiomi Mi 4c comes with a 5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 808. The display will come with Sunlight Display technology which improves screen visibility in bright conditions. The smartphone sports 13-MP rear camera with phase-detection autofocus. According to Xiaomi, phase-detection autofocus will take less than 0.1 seconds to focus on an object. At the front it sports 5-MP camera with a wide-angle lens.
 

The smartphone has a USB Type-C connector that supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology. The Mi 4c also comes with a feature called Edge Tap. With this feature, users can lightly tap at the display’s edges to interact with the device. For example, a single tap can take a picture while double-tap will take take the user back to the previous menu. The smartphone is currently shipping with MIUI 6 OS, but Xiaomi has said that it will be updated to MIUI 7 soon. The device is available in Black, Blue, Yellow, Pink, and White color options. Xiaomi hasn’t announced if it will be launching the Mi 4c in any other country as of now.

WD Introduces My Cloud OS 3 SDK Along With My Cloud Mirror Device.

WD has launched a redesigned My Cloud OS 3 operating system software development kit and a new My Cloud Mirror Gen 2 personal cloud storage device with speedier processing.

My Cloud OS 3 features an intuitive user interface which delivers a rich content sharing experience, back-up and sync capabilities while retaining control of personal cloud devices physically located at home or office. It comes with MyCloud.com which provides users a browser based web interface for file collaboration, access management and viewing photos and videos on a gallery mode. It's new Sync feature syncs data across multiple PCs and notebooks. The new OS allows users to set up automatic camera-roll backup of photos from smartphones and tablets.
Along with My Cloud OS 3 launch, WD has introduces the My Cloud Device SDK and My Cloud API enabling developers to build new extensions and features. The OS also includes Chromebook and Chromecast support.

  • Though Moto X Play have expandable memory card support, its internal memory is 16 GB with only 8.29 GB user available and for 32 GB its 23 GB user available. 
  • The camera is 21 Mega-pixel with Sony sensor still it does not perform well in dark condition, the expectations about camera were very high. 
  • Selfies are better though with 5 Mega-Pixels. The competitors provide the feature with 4K video recording still X play does not have one.

Lenovo Announces 17.3-Inch Gaming Laptop In India.

Lenovo has announced IdeaPad Y700-17ISK, sporting 17.3-inch full HD display gaming laptop at Lenovo India Gaming Week which is going on in Mumbai, India. Alcatel 'OneTouch' Watch Launched In India at Rs. 7,999.

Alcatel has launched its watch named 'OneTouch' in India. It comes with round 1.22-inch display having resolution of 240 x 240 pixels along with olephobic coating. 

It features heart-rate monitor, accelerometer, altimeter, gyroscope and compass. It sports 201mAh battery and also dust and water-resistant up to one meter. Company has made it available in two colors, Sporty Dark Red and Volcano Black and White.
The watch used Bluetooth to connect with Android smartphone with Android 4.3 and up and iOS with iOS 7 and up. The smartwatch has a charging port which allows it to be charged via USB. The Alcatel OneTouch can display social media updates, notifications and also vibrates if the user goes out of the range of Bluetooth. Users can use the watch to click pictures from the distance. This white coloured pressure sensitive stylus will cost $99 and will go on sale in November.

 

4. Apple iPad Keyboard


Apple Smart Keyboard can fold up to become the iPad Pro cover. You can orient the keyboard to be used for typing, for watching content on the display and covering the iPad Pro. It will cost $169 and will go on sale probably with Apple Pencil in November.

 

5. New Apple TV

Apple unveiled the next generation of Apple TV with tvOS that now comes with an app store and a voice-controlled remote control. Apple TV features make viewing easier : digital assistant Siri, which is behind the voice control, can rewind a video for 15 seconds and turn on subtitles, when a viewer asks something like “What did she say”?
Next generation of Apple TV will hit stores by the end of October. It will be available in 32GB and 64GB variants where 32GB variant will cost $149 and 64GB variant will cost $199.

 

6. New Apple TV Remote

New Apple TV Remote will come with a brand-new remote featuring a slew of new sensors and buttons.

The top half of the remote is a glass surface, allowing users to swipe through Apple TV’s interface, or use it to fast forward and rewind through video. The device will also have a built-in microphone and dedicated Siri button, which can be used to enable Apple TV’s new voice search functionality.
It also includes accelerometer and gyroscope sensors, which will be used to control games built for the Apple TV. The Remote will work over Bluetooth 4.0. This Remote is rechargeable and will last up to 3 months on single charge.

 

7. New iPad Mini 4

Apple almost forgot to mention the new iPad Mini  4. The new model is thinner, it packs a faster processor, and it also has better cameras than the iPad mini 3.
“We’ve taken the power and performance of iPad Air 2 and built it into an even smaller Mini enclosure, it’s just 0.65lbs,” said Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller. The new iPad Mini 4 is priced at $399.

 

8. New Apple Watch

Apple announced that you will be able to buy new Watch bands, and the Watch Sport is now also available in gold and rose gold finishes. The company also showcased watchOS 2 once again, which will be released on September 16th. 


The Apple Watch Sport is currently available in silver and space gray. These watches will be made available in October in selected stores. 

 

9. iOS 9

Though we’ve already known what to expect from iOS 9, it finally gets a release date that is 16 September. It will be compatible with iPhone 4s and later, iPod touch 5th generation and later, iPad 2 and later and iPad mini and later.

Nokia C1, Could It Give Company Its Status Back?

Nokia announced that it will be back in smartphone business with popular Android after end of the Microsoft contract. Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri said that the company will make a return as soon as agreement with microsoft not to use the Nokia name on smartphones had expired. The company is developing strategies for 2016.
 
Nokia C1 will have Full HD IPS 5.0 inch LCD display with resolution of 720 x 1280 (~294 ppi pixel density). Phone will be packed with 32 GB internal storage with 2 GB of RAM still unsure about expandable memory. It has 8 MP rear camera with 5 MP front face shooter.
Can this device bring back the Status of Nokia?

BSNL To Offer Minimum Of 2Mbps Broadband Speed From 1 October At No Extra Cost.

BSNL currently offers a minimum speed of 512 Kbps. BSNL is loosing customers in mobile as well as landline to private operators. The company lost about 1.78 crore wireless and over 20 lakh wireline subscribers between March 2014 and March 2015 which cost them around Rs. 7,600 crore.



“We have increased the internet speed four times, we have ensured 2 Mbps is available at last mile, which is the customer premises starting 1 October at no extra cost.” BSNL CMD Anupam Shrivastava said.

Samsung has finally launched next generation of Note Series Galaxy Note 5. It features a 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) Super-Amoled display with a pixel density of 515ppi. Galaxy Note 5 is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC with four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.1GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz among with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

YU Introduces YUPIX Smart Mobile Printer.

Indian brand YU owned by Micromax has launched a smartphone photo printer called YUPIX. After installing YUPIX app, you can edit and print the photos from your smartphone. According to the YU, the YUPIX prints 2.1 x 3.4 inch sized photos at the resolution of 291 dpi. YUPIX can print edited photos with a resolution 1280 x1920 pixels.


YUPIX used dye sublimation for printing photos, its unique cartridge doesn't require a cleaning roll. It includes an Ribbon with Photo Paper integrated into it which is also water and finger print proof. Images can be transferred via Wi-FI or NFC. YUPIX is compatible with Android devices and iPhones. This device is pocket sized weighs 273 grams and it is powered by 750 mAh battery.
It will be available on Amazon.in from 7 September at the price of Rs. 6,999.

21.5-Inch iMac With 4K Display To Be Launched In October.

According to the 9to5Mac reports Apple will hold an event in October to refresh its iMac series. In this event company will release a new version of iMac with 21.5-inch 4K Display. Official rollout of the OS X El Capitan and iOS 9 could happen in this event.


4K Display means iMac will have 4096x2304 pixels whereas current generation iMac 21.5-inch has 1920x1080 pixels. Other upgrades could be processors and improved color saturation. Apple may continue to sell the lower-resolution (1080p) 27-inch iMac variant despite launching a 5K variant last year.
Other reports include that iPhone 6S might not sport sapphire protection on top of its camera, but it would have a higher-resolution FaceTime sensor. iPhone 6S is expected to be launch on 9th September.

Meet The First 'Cloud-First' Smartphone - 'Robin'.

Nextbit company run by Android veterans has come with a unusual idea which is on the paper for now. The product of this company named 'Robin' will be first 'cloud-first' smartphone. This device automatically backs up content on cloud means you will probably never run out of storage on your device. You already have 32GB internal storage but sometimes that isn't enough so this device backs up the content whether it is music, videos, pictures or apps on cloud whenever it detects that device is running out of space. You will have 100GB private box on cloud server.

There is a reason why company claims it as a 'smarter smartphone'. It actually studies how you use your smartphone. It looks at the apps which you constantly use and whenever it detects you are not using app anymore it uploads it to the cloud where you can still access it later by just connecting to the internet. Whenever you are connected to the WiFi, it automatically backs up your data on cloud.

Lenovo Launches New Series Of ThinkPad Laptops And Desktop PCs.

Lenovo has launched new range of ThinkPad Laptops and desktop PCs for small and medium scale business at IFA 2015. This range includes Lenovo M, B and E series of laptops, ThinkPad E-series, S-series desktops.


The ThinkPad E-series will feature an optional Intel RealSense 3D camera which will be helpful to unlock the laptops using Windows 10 Hello feature. ThinkPad E-series will be powered by latest Intel and AMD processors. This series will be available in 14-inch and 15.6-inch. It will feature up to 16GB memory and solid state drive storage. It will also come with three 3.0 USB ports, one HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet port. It will have optional fingerprint security. This series will be made available from November and will start from $479.


The S-series all-in-one desktops will be available in 19.5-inch, 21.5-inch and 23-inch full HD with optional touchscreen screen variants.
Lenovo has also launched M41 laptop with 14-inch full HD display for business purpose. It will be powered by Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB memory, AMD Radeon graphics and solid state storage.

Xiaomi May Launch A Curved Display Smartphone - Mi Edge Next Month.

According to the report by Chinese website mobile-dad Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is working on a smartphone with a complete edge display. The smartphone will go by name Mi Edge and will have very similar design to Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. 



As per rumours it will have 5.2-inch 2K display along with a Snapdragon 808 chipset and RAM between 3GB - 4GB. It is also rumoured to sport a 16MP rear camera and a fingerprint scanner. We are expecting the smartphone to be launched in October of this year and will be priced aroung Rs. 26000.
