Apple To Launch New iPhones In Its Upcoming Event On 9 September; Will Discontinue iPhone 5C.

As per reports, Apple is all set to launch its next generation iPhone on 9th September in its upcoming event. The company will be live streaming the event on Mac, Apple TV, iPhone, iPad and PC users. We are expecting Apple to launch iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus in this event. According to the rumours company will launch cheaper variant iPhone 6C in this event. It is also reported that Apple will discontinue the iPhone 5C but the sale of iPhone 5S, 6 and 6 Plus will continue.
The company is also expected to launch 12.9-inch iPad Pro in this event. Reports state that new products which is expected to launch in this event also includes the new Apple TV.

Amkette Evo Gamepad Pro for Android Devices Launched at Rs. 2,799.

India-based Amkette launched a Bluetooth gamepad for Android, called the Evo Gamepad Pro. It is designed to work with most Android games. Company has also created the Evo Gamepad Games app for Android, which will help you to find the games that are compatible with the controller.

 

The gamepad has two analogue sticks, two triggers, a four-way direction pad, bumpers, and four face buttons, home and back buttons for Android. It also comes with a plastic stand, which you can use for gaming on an Android tablet. Another exciting feature of this is it can also be connected to an Android set-top box (such as the Amkette Evo TV) for gaming on the big screen. The gamepad is well designed and very similar to Xbox one controller.


Amkette claims the battery in the Evo Gamepad Pro lasts for 12-hours on single charge. The Amkette Evo Gamepad Pro is available exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 2,799.

Facebook Launches New App Named 'Moments' For Android and iOS.

Facebook introduced a new standalone app called Moments which will enable users to share photos privately. As per Facebook said in release "Moments groups the photos on your phone based on when they were taken and, using facial recognition technology it will recognise which friends are in them. You can then privately sync those photos quickly and easily with specific friends, and they can choose to sync their photos with you as well. Now you and friends have all the photos you took together." 

 
This app also has the ability to make beautiful movie compilations of best photos and users can quickly customize and share with friends. Facebook has made the app available on Android and iOS platform.

LG Launches ‘World’s First 4K OLED TV’ In India.

LG has launched the world’s first 4K OLED TV in India. It comes in two variants, the 55-inch variant is priced at Rs. 3,84,900 while the 65-inch variant at Rs. 5,79,900.


These curved TVs are based on LG’s proprietary WRGB technology which boasts 33 million color sub-pixels to offer better colors and contrast ratio. This technology offers about 27 million more color sub-pixels than a conventional full-HD tv. The display offers a 5.9mm thickness as well. LG offers free transparent stand and the back cover for with these TVs. In addition, the TV also features 3D and Harman Kardon sound technology. 3D glasses are bundled with the TV.
The TV also has a maximum response time of 0.001ms for blur free viewing which is 1000 times more than conventional LCD TVs. It is also powered by webOS smart TV platform and LG’s magic motion remote that also supports voice recognition. In terms of connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi, Miracast, MHL and Intel WiDi.

Sony has launched the newly announced Xperia C5 Ultra Dual in India. Sony has made this model to target selfie lovers. The smartphone will be available in Black, White, and Glossy Soft Mint color variants.

Office 2016 for Windows expected to launch in September.

Microsoft planning to launch its office 2016 for windows on 22nd September for home and professional users. According to the sources Microsoft office 2016 for windows won't provide any major updates over current version. The new version includes a "new colorful theme" which is very identical to latest Mac, iOS, Android apps. It also includes dark theme for those who don't like traditional look. Microsoft is improving Outlook search, attachment, email delivery performance, improvement to image insertion in Word and Excel.


Microsoft hasn't officially confirmed the September 22nd launch date, but sources reported that employees are currently testing final release of Office 2016.

Rumours: iPhone 6C Reportedly Set for November Launch.

New reports indicate that that iPhone 6C would now launch in November instead of September. Details on pre-order and launch dates of the rumoured iPhone 6s have also emerged on the Web.
 

As per @evleaks's tweet the iPhone 6c would launch alongside the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus in September. Whereas the news of a November launch instead was reported by Chinatimes (via GforGames).
